2023 Helmet and Jersey Specifications have been updated for the 2023 Season..

Jersey specifications are specific to parts of the jersey (see graphic below) as well as the home and away teams designation.

Helmet requirements have also been updated as follows:
-  Only helmets bearing the NOCSAE Seal of Certification may be worn
-  ALL helmets must bear the current approved NOCSAE “Warning Label” in a visible location on the outside of the helmet
-  Programs must follow the helmet manufacturers guidelines for reconditioning
-  No helmet older than 10 years may be used per industry guidelines
= Helmets for the 2023 Season must be either NEW or RECONDITIONED in 2022 or 2023.

-  No helmet manufactured before 2014 may be used in 2023
-  Consult with the manufacturer before painting or altering a helmet in any way
-  If your helmet certification sticker is not in the common location (back lower edge of the helmet) programs should know which helmets fall into this category and be able to quickly identify the proper location for commissioners who will be inspecting helmets for certification.

Mouthguards are required to be attached/tethered for ALL Mid-America Regional and National play.
